Wow, who can believe summer is almost over? It flew by for us this year for sure. As many of you know, there are some big changes happening at the studio this month. As of today, I will be taking over the studio. It is a very exciting time for me as I have so many ideas I would like to run with….. our very first membership referral contest will begin August 1. Here is how it will go down….. for the first client that you refer that either purchases a package of privates, classes or an unlimited membership, you will get to choose a P2 t-shirt (I have ordered other colors besides black) or a P2 water bottle. The client that refers the most clients that join (at least 3 to qualify) will get to choose either a month of unlimited classes or 2 privates. ($150 value) So…. Get busy. Let’s get our friends here and have some fun!! The best part of this is you all (including your friends that join) will be locked into our “Founders Member Rates”. When rates go up… you will be locked in as long as you stay active. Yay!

Move of the month:
Pelvis tilt….So many of us are locked in our hips and are unable to move our hips in all planes. This month we will work on learning how to isolate the muscles that allow our hips to tilt forward and back, side to side and hike.
Recipe of the month - Raspberry Fruit Smoothie:
1 1/4 cup frozen raspberries
1 large ripe, sliced and frozen banana (1 banana yields ~1 cup)
1/2 cup pomegranate juice
3/4 cup orange juice
3/4 cup Plain Unsweetened Almond Breeze Almond Milk
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until creamy and smooth.Taste and adjust flavor as needed. Add more milk or fruit juice if too thick. Add more frozen banana if not sweet enough. Serve immediately.
