Boy, did August zoom on by us. Summer has come to an end but the heat has not. However, football season is here... let's kick off this time of the year with a little competition of our own.... a proper Pilates pushup challenge. We will end each class with push ups. We will guide you to the perfect push up and then each day see if you can do one more. p2 will keep a record and let's see how many we can do by Halloween!! Who's in? 

Winner gets one free private!!!

(teachers will watch and offer guidance, please no cheating and the push ups must be "proper" to win)

 

Focus of the month...FEET....

 Feet are our foundation. If our foundations are not strong and working the way created the issues will work their way up to the knees, hips and spine. This month we will focus on building a strong foundation. Our feet need to be working in every single exercise whether it is a foot focus or not. This month we will think of our feet in every exercise we do. Toe corrector....here we come, bunions, there you go!!!!!

 

September Skinny Margarita

 

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 oz Silver tequila

  • 2 oz Fresh squeezed lime juice

  • 1.5 oz Cointreau

  • 1 oz light agave nectar or simple syrup* (more or less to taste)

  • Ice

  • Coarse sea salt

  • Lime wedges

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Use a lime wedge to wet the rims of 2 glasses and dip in salt (optional). Fill glasses with ice.

  2. To make margaritas, add tequila, lime juice, Cointreau and agave nectar or simple syrup to a shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into ice-filled glasses.
